Our products are individually produced exclusively in aluminium alloys, which are all recyclable and are able to be reused without decreasing the characteristics of the material. According to statistics, 80% of all aluminium is recycled. The recycling process takes only 5 % of the energy that is needed when refining aluminium for the first time. Therefore ÅGES is part of a useful circulation for aluminium, and supports best practice environmental standards.
We have for a long time been prioritising best practice techniques to eliminate and/or minimize the impact on the environment. For example, our efficient purifying plant which reuses processed water in a closed system and brings it back into production. Most of our die cast machines are equipped with filters which reduce the impact on the environment in the workshops dramatically, and results in decreasing waste and discharge from production.
Centralised Heating of the facility is recycled from the process cooling system. The furnaces are powered by gas which significantly decreases the discharge of nitrogen, sulphur oxide and carbon dioxide decreased drastically compared to oil operations. Since July 2002 are we certified to ISO14001.
